To ensure healthy, high-quality pork, we work with our own contracted frams to make sure the animals are healthy, cared for properly, and grown to the appropriate weight and age.
Our chicken is sourced from modern processing plants with HACCP Certification and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure proper handling and slaughtering of the chicken. The chicken are given 100% vegetarian diets of soya and corn to promote natural growth.
Prasuma does not allow any kind of drug or medication to either speed up an animal’s growth or increase lean muscle mass. We don’t believe it’s natural, and some of the drugs have been shown to put animals under stress.
We believe that antibiotics isn’t just bad for the animals, but for humans. Hence, all our products are Antibiotic Residue Free, which means antibiotics are given only if animals become ill, and are slaughtered only once the antibiotic is flushed out of their system to avoid it being passed on to humans.
But as a result of the superior animal husbandry practices like clean barns, fresh air, and more space, fewer animals need to be treated in the Prasuma program.



Our world class production facility complies with the most rigorous standards of product quality and food safety. Our HACCP and ISO 22000:2005 certificates prove that we meet all requirements given in international food safety and quality standards.
Protecting consumers is what food safety is all about and at ample foods, we make no compromises where food safety is concerned. Before Prasuma products land in a shopping basket, our products undergo many inspection and quality tests.
Our food safety relies on the compliance with legal regulations as well as with expectations of our customers so that they can trust that every item they buy will be safe and of standard quality.



At Prasuma we have always tried to use packaging that enhances the product. All our products are vacuum skin packaged using barrier films imported from New Zealand, considered to be the best in the world. This environmentally friendly and recyclable packaging also helps to cut our business’ carbon footprint.
Chilled vac-pac meat is one of the safest and convenient ways for a meat processing plant to supply to the foodservice and retail sector and at Prasuma we pride ourselves on being able to offer excellent product quality, product presentation and a longer shelf life while maintaining the flavour and freshness of the meat.



We have our own distribution system with our own distribution centres equipped with state of the art cold storage facitlies in Gurgaon, Mumbai and Bangalore, and drivers who can quickly get products to our customers.
Our distribution system is the is part of what differentiates Prasuma from the rest, ensuring we deliver fresh products quickly and safely at the right temperatures and handled with utmost care.
