  • Founded in 1985, Prasuma is a family business. 30 years ago, our company began with the belief that consumers deserved a better-quality sausage than what was available. Over the years, our company has grown, but our standards for quality have never wavered. We choose to only bring to market products that we believe in, products that meet the standards set for us long ago.

  • We do not recommend freezing our products. Freezing affects both texture and flavor. However, if you do choose to freeze any of our fine products, be sure to defrost under refrigeration.

  • In order for you to enjoy optimum flavor, we recommend Prasuma deli meats should be stored in the refrigerator at or below 4 ̊C. As soon as we open the package, the freshness date expires sooner depending on external factors, such as temperature and hygiene conditions. That is why we recommend using up the opened package within 4 to 5 days.

  • At Prasuma, we believe in using only the highest quality ingredients to make our products. For example, we use only Farm Raised English Breed Pork, Corn & Soya Fed Chicken, Free Range Mutton and 100% Grass Fed Buff. All our meats are Hormone and Antibiotic Residue FREE.

    Put simply, we use just the very best parts of the very best meat.

  • In our quest to find the right combination of spices, we source our spices from all over the globe to give our products a refined sense of smell and taste and rich experience. For example, our Deli Meats and paprika spices comes all the way from Germany, while our olives are sourced from Spain and pepper directly from the hills of Coorg.

  • All our products undergo a natural smoke treatment, without the addition of artificial smoke liquid or flavour. From the beginning Prasuma has smoked their raw sausages and ham products in the traditional way, over natural wood.

    Smoking sausages and ham the natural way has a positive effect on the taste, aroma, texture and colour of the product.

The standards list all the requirements that an organization needs to fulfil if they want to show that they have in place and implement the quality management system (ISO 9001), in conformity with this internationally recognized norm.
